Me, Chan, Dylan and Cameron babysat Bryson Saturday night. It was pretty funny to see the three boys fighting over toys - hard to believe they are all big enough to stake their claim on toys! Whenever we drive at night Dylan likes to help watch for deer (afterall, we did hit two this year!). On the way home from watching Bryson Dylan said "I'll watch for deer on the right side and you watch for deer on the left side". We were driving for awhile when Dylan said, in a very sleepy voice from the dark backseat, "I want to go to sleep now, but I need to watch for deer". Poor little Dylan was exhausted, but felt the need to be responsible and help me watch for deer. I was like "It's ok honey, you can go to sleep, I'll watch for deer." He was quite and then he goes "Can you watch both sides?" I was like "Yes, now go to sleep." and he was out like a light. He is so sweet and responsible - and only 4! Most kids would have just fallen asleep, not Dylan. He had a job to do and wouldn't go to sleep until he knew that his job was being looked after.

Can we train him to watch out for the police? I think that would be more useful.
