Dylan's 2nd day of pre-school...
Today went a lot better. :) I took him into his classroom, he put his bucket where it's supposed to go, he got his name tag and sat down at a table of Legos. It went very smoothly. When it was time for me to leave I simply said "I'm going to go tell the teacher all the things you wanted me to tell her and then I'll be back to get you later." I simply gave him a kiss and walked out of the room. He just sat and played with his Legos!
The teacher said that he didn't cry at all the entire day. :) He participated a lot more today and found a flower on the way to the playground and asked the teacher to hold it the whole time while he played. When he came in he put it in his bucket to bring home.
When I came to pick him up today he ran over to me with a huge smile on his face. He was so excited to show me the flower he found. Then he showed me his worksheet. He did really good - he traced a bunch of shapes and then drew them all on his own and wrote his name on his paper by himself.
Today was MUCH better!!
