Cameron had the "best birthday ever"! Cam never asked for any certain toy or anything, but the one thing he really wanted was a birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese. He had a wonderful time! I think he felt SO special when Chuck-E and everyone started singing just for him and he got his special blow-up crown full of tokens, his Chuck-E medallion and the GIGANTIC balloon with this name on it! He truly was king for the day. It made me so happy to see him so happy. The sweetest part of it all was when we got home and he was all tired and groggy and just about to fall asleep he said "Mama, thank you for my birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese". It made my heart melt. He was so thankful and appreciative of his party and being surrounded by his family for his big day. He's a very gentle-hearted soul.
Speaking of gentle-hearted, Mimi took Cam to Philadelphia on a train as his bday present since she was out of town the night of his party. She took him to the museum to see dinosaur bones. It ended up that Cameron was a little scared of some of the dino stuff... but had a blast in the butterfly house.
