Dylan's sleepover

7 nine year old boys, Super Soaker water blaster battle in 60 degree weather, scavenger hunt, pizza, smores, sparklers, presents, air hockey tournaments, Hot Wheels/trains/construction sets, pillow fights, movies, popcorn... all the elements of an awesome sleepover! The most shocking part was that they never even asked to play the wii or ds! It was nice to see them actually playing together and not involving video games for once. This morning the boys were saying "This was the BEST sleepover EVER!" There were no dull moments. We actually didn't even do a few of the things that I thought we'd need to do to keep them occupied. I guess having too much to do is better than them getting bored. We didn't even get around to decorating their own cupcakes or running around in the dark with glow sticks. Guess we'll save those ideas for the next sleepover. Since we didn't do the cupcakes we ended up putting a candle in Dylan's fire-roasted marshmallow and singing "Happy Birthday" around the 'birthday marshmallow'. It was a very successful sleepover!
