Just got back late last night from 3 days at Great Wolf Lodge in Virginia. We had a GREAT time!

Below you will see a video of how much Gabriel "LOVES" Great Wolf Lodge. This video was taken after about 20 min of running around saying how much he 'loves this house' (the hotel room). Oh, and the 'spider' that he sees is actually just a painted picture on the wall in the kids room... we didn't encounter any real spiders!

The room was super cool! The kids got their very own log cabin inside the hotel room. Their cabin had a bunk bed, a twin bed and their own tv. Then the main part of the room had our bed, a sofa (w/ pull out bed), tv, gas fireplace, table/chairs, fridge, microwave, coffee pot etc.

It had a bunk bed, twin bed and it's own tv.
The kids just 'had' to have an ice cream that was served by a robotic machine that cost $7 each! Luckily someone must have put money in and then changed their mind or something because we ended up getting one for free so that was pretty cool.

In the evening we went to the lobby and the kids were in their pj's and they listened to storytime. They also had a show later in the evening with electronic puppet characters, but it was really creepy and weird - the characters had big eyes and were really weird. The kids lost interest quickly and we left.

This has nothing to do with Great Wolf, but on the way there we stopped at a rest stop and Cameron was outside at a small playground and found an ipod! Normally we would have turned it in to a lost and found, but there was no one around and we were sure the owners were long gone since it was a highway rest stop.

While at the water park Cameron was eating a soft pretzel and his tooth fell out. He has a habit of losing teeth while on vacation.

The boys enjoyed the arcade. A billion tickets bought them some mini tootsie rolls and a cheesy bracelet, but they enjoyed it.

In the evenings after long days at the waterpark we played games and watched a movie.

Then after we had been there about 7 hours Gabriel was still wound up and singing its praises!

Cammy wiped out on the wave ride. He was scared to death of the waterslides and wouldn't go near them, yet he totally shocked us by wanting to ride this crazy thing. It was the only thing in the whole waterpark that I wouldn't dare go near and yet he wanted to try it. I feel so bad that he wiped out. I think it scarred him for life. :(  He actually did ok the first time, but it was the second time that he went that he wiped out. Below is the video of the wipeout...
