Pinewood Derby Districts Race

Since Dylan and Cam both got first place in their dens at the Pinewood Derby last month they both got to go to the Districts race in Carlisle today. I'm so excited that Dylan and Cam both placed! Cameron got the 4th place trophy and Dylan got 1st! Pretty darn good for competing against the fastest-of-the-fast (they each competed against approx. 17 other 1st place winners from Packs all over the area). Dylan then went on to compete in the Championship race and got 4th overall. Guess it's time to set up a trophy case - 5 Pinewood Derby trophies this year alone and 12 all together between the 3 boys over the last few years (12 trophies and 10 cars for the case... plus tball and soccer trophies)! I'm glad Dylan got a chance to get a District 1st place trophy since he is a massive car lover and this meant so much to him (and next year is his last derby year) and I'm so happy for Cam because this is only his first year in scouts and he already placed in a district race. Great job boys!
