Cameron turned 4! He had such an awesome time at his party. Thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate. It means so much to us to have our family with us during our boys' milestones. All day he kept saying "I LOVE my birthday party!"

The cub scouts had a rocket launch. Each of the boys had to build their own rocket and we spent a beautiful day outdoors watching them take off...and watching all the boys chase after them. These were real rockets with real explosives. They had a great time!
Dylan reached a huge milestone as well... he can now ride a 2 wheel bike without training wheels! And to top off that milestone, he had his first wreck! Thank goodness he wobbled off the concrete path and landed in the grass instead of the pavement, but he still hit face first and really hard. We've all done it, it's a part of life I wish he could have avoided, but it's just not possible. At least he didn't wreck on is first day on two wheels, it was a couple days later. It's so weird to see him riding a big kid bike! He was so proud of himself he kept saying "Take a picture of me and see if I can go so fast that I make the photo blurry."....and he DID!
The other day I was driving down the road and out of nowhere, my car tire exploded! I felt a huge bump and could tell that something happened to my tire. I pulled off the road and there was a massive hole in my tire - at least a 6" square chunk of tire was missing right out of the side of it and the metal on my wheel was broken off! I had to have hit something hard and heavy along side the road or maybe the tire just blew and the impact of it hitting the road broke the wheel. I have no idea. I walked up and down the road and didn't see anything on the road. My dad came to change my wheel (Chan wasn't home) and he said I'd have had to of hit something super hard, like solid steel to do this much damage. Cam was in the backseat and said "I know what it probably was! A porcupine!" lol. Because, of course, porcupine's have sharp needles that can pop tires! :)
The other day we were admiring our neighbors Halloween decorations and I said to Dylan that we need to decorate for Halloween. I was actually very pleased with his response "Let's make some decorations. After all, homemade ones are WAY better than the kind you buy!" True, very true! I was happy that he realizes that.
The boys had a great time the other day at grandpas house. They asked if they could go over and play in all his leaves (he lives in the woods). They had a blast raking leaves, hauling them in the wheel barrow, piling them up, jumping in them and throwing them at Apa.
The other day Cameron wrote the number 5 on his preschool bucket. He said "Do you know why I put a 5 on my bucket? It's so that everyone will know that I'm almost 5." Yep, he's almost 5... after all he did just turn 4 two weeks ago. :)
Dylan's school had their Halloween party. Of course Dylan and Cora didn't do too much more than stand around with their moms. Finally at the very end Dylan started to hang out with some kids, but it took him over an hour and a half.
