I still can't believe that Dylan is in SECOND grade. My baby. For weeks he's been saying "I don't want to go to school. I hate school. It's boring.", but thankfully he was pretty much all smiles this morning. I think he was very nervous, but I told him that everyone is nervous the first day. I hope he's having a good day. I'm nervous about the bathroom situation.
I got an email from his new teacher so I feel a little better having sent a few emails back and forth. She even tried to call the other day. I was worried that she was one of the teachers that doesn't reply through email. I also got an email from the school nurse saying that everythings ok with Dylan using the bathroom at the nurses office (he likes that bathroom because it's private and has a lock unlike the ones in the classrooms). Now he just needs to get over his fear of asking to use the bathroom. I'll update after he gets home.
Cam stars school Sept. 3.... which is odd because he'll go 1 day and then have a 4 day weekend. That doesn't really make sense. Then he goes back to school for 1 day and then has off, then goes 2 days and then it's the weekend again. So it's not til 12 days after school begins before he'll actually have his first full week (he'll go M, T, Th, F mornings). He's super excited for school to start. I think he'll do great at Little Hands.

I CAN'T WAIT to hear how his first day went. Guess his little friend isn't in his class-Cora either? He sure looks BIG waiting on the porch. Nice big smile though....Love A-MA
