All of Gabriel's stuff has arrived for his first marking period of school through PA Cyber! I don't know who's more excited, me or him! I figured that since he still has a year before starting public school, PA Cyber is a great option for this year and will give us something to do together while the other boys are at school from 8:30-4. The 3rd child always gets lost in the shuffle, so it'll be nice to have some one on one time together.
PA Cyber provides all the materials for free that I often spend my own money on anyway (art supplies, science projects, games etc). They also provide workbooks, reading books, weather chart, counting blocks, flash cards, Melissa & Doug magnetic calendar and even a good 'ol fashion red rubber playground ball (along with tons of other supplies). They pay $50/mo toward our internet, they pay for field trips, activities, art classes and more as well as $70 toward any sport he wants to play. Oh and did I mention that they provide him with his own laptop, electronic tablet, printer, laptop bag/backpack etc! They also have a drop-off facility that I can take him to as often as I like so that he can play with other kids, do extra curricular activities (like art, dance etc) as well as teach him his daily curriculum... and that is all free too! It was a no-brainer to sign him up! I used to think that cyber school was where kids just sat alone playing games online and their brain turned to mush, but it's not like that at all...especially for the younger kids. Most of Gabriel's stuff is hands-on and I'll be guiding him - some of it's online, but it's really good, interactive stuff.

Gabriel's first marking period supplies (he'll get 4 bins during the year). It even came in a handy storage tub. This bin has everything! Even such things as a fossil, soil for planting seeds, plastic coins, sidewalk chalk, magnifying glass, Bendaroos and tons and tons of art supplies (a case of glitter, bottles of tempra paint, clay etc..)
