We took Gabriel for his first pediatrician appointment. He is 5 days old. Everything checked out great! :) He has a little bit of jaundice, but nothing that needs treatment other than some indirect sunlight. Dylan had jaundice really bad when he was born and needed to be wrapped in a Wallaby Blanket (which is a blanket that he had to be wrapped in 24/7 that had ultraviolet lights in it that glowed on him). Gabriel had to get a shot, but it barely phased him. He only cried for a few seconds. He measures in the 95%+ for height/weight/head circumference - perfectly plump and proportionate!
After his appointment we had our first meal in a restaurant as a party of 5. We went to Red Robin and had a very successful meal.
Dylan said something funny. We told him that we were going to be bringing Duke home from Mam's (she watched Duke while we were in the hospital). Dylan said "Duke will get to meet Gabriel just like I did.....except in a dog way."
In the hospital the pediatrician was amazed that Gabriel is already starting to roll over (onto his side). Whenever we put him in his cradle, he rolls over to his side.
Chan and I are already having trouble keeping the boys names straight. We keep calling Gabriel "Cameron". I think it's because Cam has been the baby for so long.
