Check-up

Gabriel - 2 months old

Gabriel had his 2 month check-up today. He was all smiles the whole time... until the mean 'ol doctor brought out 3 sharp needles. Poor little guy had to have 3 shots in his thigh and had to take one oral vaccine by mouth. He is in the 95th+ percentile for weight (14 lbs 2 oz) and in the 90th percentile for length (24 1/4"). The doctor suggested that I make an appt. with a specialist because she thinks that he may have a hernia. Hopefully not, but if he does I guess it requires surgery. She said that they're some-what common and it's nothing too serious if he has one. I still don't like the word 'surgery' though. I'll keep y'all posted. Other than that, he got a clean bill of health! The doctor kept commenting on how he seems so much older than 2 months. She said "And it's not just his size. He just seems so much more alert and aware than most at this age." .... our little genius! haha.
