Cameron didn't like wearing underwear. He liked being naked under his shorts. Every time we'd mention underwear he'd start to freak out "No, I don't want to wear underwear!" So.... I had to get clever. I had to think like a 3 year old boy. I had to think of a way to make underwear sound really fun. I decided to show him that he can play peek-a-boo with his undies. I showed him the little flap in the front and said "peek-a-boo!" Of course he busted out in laughter. He couldn't wait to put them on. As soon as they were on he pulled open the flap and shouted "PEEK-A-BOO PEE-PEE!" So...now if you mention underwear he still says "No underwear!". Then we have to rephrase our sentence "Put on your peek-a-boo-pee-pee's" and he runs to put them on. Of course when I told him he had to get dressed because I had to go to the chiropractor he got excited because he could show Dr. Becker his peek-a-boo-pee-pee....that's when I had to explain that he cannot play that kind of peek-a-poo in public!
Thank you to everyone who came to Cameron's third birthday party! The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious (thanks mom & Tom!) and Cameron loved being surrounded by his favorite people on his special day! We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family and great friends to help us celebrate our boys. Hope everyone had as much fun as we did!
