Ticklish left foot

Gabriel has this thing where he can't let his left foot touch grass. It's the strangest thing. I had to take a photo of it. It's not like he lifts it up every now and then or something - he will actually sit in the grass with his left foot up in the air the entire time! He has no problem with his right foot touching grass - it's just his left that must be super sensitive or something. And it's not like this was a one time incident. It's going on about 2 weeks that he's been doing this (pretty much since it's been warm enough to be outside without shoes on.)
