Just when I thought he couldn't get any sweeter...

If you didn't already read that post about the Pop Tart, read that one first and then come back to this one.

So, for three mornings Dylan brought me a Pop Tart in bed. He was being super thoughtful and sweet. Then the 4th day Dylan was in the kitchen w/ Chan and noticed that there was only one Pop Tart left. Dylan said to dada "I guess mama will have to have something else for breakfast this morning." (I was still in bed trying to sneak in a few extra minutes of sleep). THEN Dylan got an idea and walked into the room with half a Pop Tart for me. He said "There was only one left, so we'll have to split it." Now that is what I call thoughtful. He could have easily kept the whole Pop Tart for himself, but he decided that he'd rather split it with his mommy so that he could bring me breakfast in bed. Of course after I hugged him and kissed him and told him how sweet he was, I offered my half back to him since I knew that he really wanted it. I am just so proud of how generous and thoughtful he was to make that decision on his own and give up something that he wanted so that he could do something nice for someone else.

Cameron still sings non-stop and loves to make up his own songs (especially when he's sleepy). Every time Cam sees a fly, he says "Look! It's my best friend!" Cameron has a thing about making friends with flies. If it lands on him, he'll say "My best friend loves me!" :) Cameron had a great time at the cabin playing with the caterpillars. There were hundreds and hundreds of them EVERYWHERE! It was so disgusting! They were falling from trees and covering the porch steps and sticking to the car... everywhere you look, they were there. The boys had a large Tupperware container FILLED with them. Gross!

Gabriel still has no interest in walking. He'll crawl up the stairs and pull himself to standing, but if you try to make him walk, his feet are like lead. His knees lock and his muscles tense and he curls his toes in. He says 'mama', 'ba' (bottle) and his favorite, "puh!" Not sure what puh means, but he says it all the time. He can do patty cake and he can roll it and roll it. He loves to throw stuff (he has a good arm!) and crawl under/through things. He'll get stuck under chairs and tables etc.. Gabriel is a very picky eater now. He wont eat any fruit besides banana's. Most of what you give him to eat he'll just throw on the floor. Good news is that he's finally sleeping at night and napping during the day -- only took 11 1/2 months!
