Camp Out

Chan and Dylan got back yesterday from their cub scout camp out. Let's just say that everything that could go wrong, did. Shortly after they got there, Dylan was running around and Chan thought to himself 'That burning hot metal coal stove is pretty dangerous'...just as he caught a glimpse of Dylan rounding the corner and placing his entire hand on the top of the stove - BURNING IT! His entire hand was burned & blistered! Chan even took a photo of Dylan's handprint on the stove. It still looks really bad, but thankfully the pain has subsided. Then later on they went for a hike and they had to turn around and head back because Dylan's toes were frozen. I guess on the way back he fell and hurt his stomach. Then he found a spider in his bed that was so gigantic that they took photos of it (I made them delete them off the camera after they showed Cameron). All that and they were only there one full day. Other than those things, he had a good time. :)

Gabriel only says a handful of words, but I think that Chan is very proud that one of Gabriel's words is 'ut ba'...aka 'football'. As we all know, Gabriel is obsessed with books, but the other day when Chan tried to read to him while watching a football game, Gabriel pushed the book aside and said "UT BA!" and whenever there was a tackle, he would say "Uh oh!" Maybe out of 3 sons, Chan will get 1 that likes football.
