Dylan goes to the doctors...
Let's just say that it didn't go well. He kicked the nurses, threw some punches, banged the walls, slammed chairs around, ran down the hall, crawled under tables, pushed with force, threw stuff... and no, I'm not exaggerating. Meanwhile, I have 30 lbs of Gabriel clinging to me like a monkey, ready to scream if I even consider setting him down. Dylan's behavior is the whole reason he's 6 months past when he was supposed to have his checkup. I knew it would be like this. And I would have waited even longer except I needed to get his cough checked out. A switch flips in him when he has to see a doctor - he freaks! Two PO'd nurses later and about 30 minutes into it, Dr. Webb and her marvelous patience was able to examine him - most of the way. She forgo the shot as to not mess up the little bit of trust she was gaining with him. She's an awesome doctor. It was just ridiculous the way he was acting. I just don't get it. Anyway, after all that we found out that the persistent cough that has been keeping him (and me) up at night for months is most likely asthma. He's now on daily meds to hopefully get it under control.
