Today is a big day for Gabriel.... his belly button fell off! Well, not his belly button, but his umbilical cord stump. He is 2 1/2 weeks old. He's been doing wonderfully. We had one day where he cried most of the day, but then I got him some gas drops and he's doing much better. I have to give him some after each feeding to keep the gas pains away. Other than that, he's been doing very well. The boys are so in love with him!!! I am so glad that there hasn't been any jealousy at all from Dylan and Cameron. I assumed they'd have their moments of jealousy, but they haven't! They just adore Gabriel and they LOVE playing with him, bathing him, rocking the bouncy seat, pushing the swing, pushing the stroller etc.. Even when I have to walk around rocking Gabriel or when I have to stop and feed him every two hours - they are fine with it! Gabriel fits in SO PERFECTLY!
The other day Dylan got mad because Duke wouldn't stop licking him..... so to get revenge on Duke, Dylan licked him back!! :)
Cameron gets some strange obsessions. The last obsession he had was with a container of broccoli, then the other day he got a boo-boo, so I gave him a red band aid. When the band aid fell off, he carried it around the rest of the day...and then slept with it...and then carried it with him the whole next day at City Island. He was so proud of his band aid.
