The Bry-Son's (no wonder we have all boys!)

Dylan just lost his 2nd tooth! The first one he lost has now been replaced with his first adult tooth. The other night at dinner Dylan spit his food out onto his plate and said "What's that?" and just stared at the blob of food. I didn't know what he was talking about, but after a minute or so I kinda got the feeling that there might be a tooth hidden in the food. I dug through it and found a cute little tooth. You would think that we would be prepared for this - but we weren't. It was almost 7pm and we didn't have a gold dollar coin for the tooth fairy to deliver and the bank was closed. I put the boys to bed. Dylan never mentioned the tooth. I think he was still weirded out by it and didn't want anyone to make a big deal about it. I figured that since he didn't mention it, then I wouldn't.... then we could get a coin the next day. While I was putting the boys to bed Chan came in and said that he was "taking Duke for a walk". Come to find out, he was being a good daddy and was out hunting for a gold coin. I forget the exact way this went down, but I think he first went to Rutters, then McDonalds, Superfresh, Movie Gallery, Family Dollar, Subway, Fashion Bug and then finally made it to Radio Shack at 5 min to 9pm and finally found a gold coin! He worked so hard to find it, but when he got home the boys were asleep and there was no tooth under the pillow. Oh well, at least we have the coin now. Tonight the tooth is finally under his pillow... now I just have to remember to put the coin there before I fall asleep.

Ama (grandma) told me a funny story today. She said the other day when the boys were over they were playing a game and Dylan picked the game piece with the star on it. Cameron got upset because he wanted the star. Ama picked another piece and tried to make it sound enticing to Cameron by saying "Don't you want the moon one?" -- Cameron looked at her and said "That's not a moon. It's a planet." ... and he was right. She was like "What's he know about planets!?" I guess he really does listen when we read the astronomy book!
