A few tid bits

Dylan and Cameron each had two quarters... Dylan has a placemat that shows different coins. Then Dylan put two and two together: he had two quarters and he's never seen a real half dollar. That's when he started to beg for me to take them to the bank to exchange their quarters for half dollars. We did so and they were SO excited! A piece of money they've never seen before!... and it was so BIG! Here's the really funny part (at least it was funny to me at the time). Dylan goes "Who's on the half dollar?" I said "I think it's Kennedy." That's when Cameron said, very matter-of-factly "Yes. I'm pretty sure it's Ken-A-Me." First off, it was cute how he said the word, but what got me was the fact that he said it was such confidence, as if he had a clue who Kennedy was! :)

We were at McDonalds the other day and Cameron said (loudly), "Look. There's a guy sitting over there all alone. Eating all by himself!" As if eating alone doesn't already feel lonely, Cameron had to point it out to everyone. lol.

Gabriel can crawl!! He loves to stick everything into his mouth, bop to music (actually he does this cute thing where he moves his head from side to side....ya gotta see it), he can high five, wave bye bye and clap. He loves "real" food. He's not too keen on baby food anymore. He blows raspberries when he's done with whatever you're feeding him - or he'll throw it on the floor. He's finally standing while holding onto something - of course he falls over after a short time. He doesn't seem to have a strong desire to stand. He's more interested in crawling around trying to find a choking hazzard or something most likely covered in lead based paint. He's the most curious out of the three boys.

Dylan got an invitation in the mail to go to Chuck E Cheese with Cora. He is very excited. He said that she told the kids in their class that he was going to Chuck E Cheese with her. I think that really made him happy.

Dylan's Knowledge A Thon dinner is April 4 (aka: "dinner with boy teacher"). They will be having pizza and there will be a DJ for dancing. Then the awards ceremony will be after. The parents are invited for the awards part only.
