Tonight the boys were singing the classic that daddy taught them... "I like big butts and I cannot lie.." Then Dylan went on with "I like to spank big butts and I cannot lie" and spanked daddy on the butt. Then he sang "I like to spank little butts and I cannot lie" and spanked Cameron on the butt. Then he said "I like to spank hairy butts and I cannot lie"............ no, he didn't spank Chan again (lol) - he spanked Duke!
(by the way, I heard this story through Chan and he's the one who added in the part about Dylan referring to him as the hairy one!)
A few days after Easter Dylan said "The Easter bunny must buy his stuff at the store... it has little lines on the back so they can scan it." (referring to the bar code). Leave it to Dylan to pick up on that.
Then today he was talking about his chocolate bunny's eyes. I said "They must have used white chocolate and colored it." Dylan just looked at me and said "Not they. HE! The Easter Bunny made it". Oops, that's right, I forgot - the Easter Bunny made it. The only thing I could think to say was "Maybe he has helpers like Santa."
At least Dylan was excited about his Easter basket this year and the fact that the Easter Bunny came. In previous years he was overly embarrassed to even look at his basket and ignored the eggs for quite some time until he felt comfortable. Same goes for Christmas. This year he was finally excited. Previous years he wouldn't really acknowledge anything Santa related. It took hours before he'd even look at the bike that Santa brought. He seems to be getting so much more comfortable with everything.
