Times are a changin'

I was volunteering in Dylan's school the other day and I saw the cutest thing. The entire Kindergarten class sitting in their seats with their own laptops! Yep, they were using laptops. They have 5 computers in the classroom that the kids rotate to use, but then on certain days they laptop-lady (as I call her) comes by with a cart of laptops and the kids each get one and they type their sentences and do artwork and math on them. The teacher uses an overhead projector screen to magnify her computer and she teaches a lesson. I guess Red Mill used to have a computer lab w/ desktop computers, but they cleared it out and now use laptops. It was so cute to see all those little kids typing away.
