Gabriel gets some weird daily obsessions. The other day we were outside and he was sitting on his folding Lion chair that Mam got him and when it was time to go he refused to leave without the chair... I had to fold it up and put it in the car with us. We stopped at McD's to get my coffee and we saw a friend on the play area outside, so we went in.... the chair had to come with us into McDs! There I was carrying a folding chair to keep the peace with a 2 year old. Normally I wouldn't 'give in' so easily, but I was in a good mood and it was cute the way he was loving the chair. Then another day I gave him a whole apple to much on - he insisted on sleeping with it. Then today I packed him a picnic lunch in a 'Digger' lunch box and he insisted on taking a nap with that too. Eventually he gave up the lunch box before he fell asleep, but it's just funny the things he gets attached to.

I feel sad for Cameron. He says that he has no friends at school and nobody will play with him. I told him that he should ask kids to play and he said that he does and they say no and run off or they'll mess up whatever it was that he made that he was playing with. I asked if he tried to go up and play with other kids and he says he does, but then they leave or tell him he can't play. :( As everyone knows, Cameron is the most gentle, kind-hearted little boy and it makes me sad to think that he feels like nobody likes him. He even said that "Why doesn't anybody like me or want to play with me?" I wonder if most of the kids were friends from last year and previous years and they already have their 'friends'. Cameron is so lovable and hopefully he'll make friends soon.
