Had a great time at the cabin this weekend. This time Sara and George were there with us and on one of the days we went to Rickett's Glen to hike the waterfall trails. Dylan, Cameron and Gabriel did such an amazing job hiking!! We ended up hiking much further than anticipated and walked for 4 hours straight: up and down steep hills, over rocky terrain, across the edge of cliffs and through the woods. Us grown-ups were getting tired, I can't imagine how the boys felt with their little legs going twice as fast, taking twice (or 3 times) as many steps. They all ate a huge dinner at Grotto afterward (so did we!)
I will try to get all our photos uploaded to a website soon (from June, July, Aug and Sept.) Here's one photo I can't resist posting though....
I love this photo! It almost doesn't look real...but we truly hiked the 4 hours that it took to get this photo!
