Cameron is talking like crazy! He'll pretty much repeat anything he hears - even complex words. He'll talk in small sentences and he says some of the funniest things! He has also learned "Why?" Now I have two little boys constantly asking "Why? Why?" I'll say "Cameron, you're so cute!" and he'll say "No I not." in the sweetest little voice.
I knew that he could count to 6 and point to the appropriate number up to 10, but today I was in the kitchen making the boys some fruit smoothies and I had my back to Cameron and I hear him say "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13" that's when I spun around and was like "WOW!" Of course I ended up interrupting his counting, but I was in shock that he was counting that high. I didn't know he could go past 6. I wonder how far he would have kept counting if I didn't interrupt. I called Chan on the phone right away to tell him and Cameron counted to 12 when I was on the phone with Chan. Now I'm anxious to see how far he'll go if I don't pressure him.
Grandma got Cameron a little toddler computer for Christmas and he plays it really well. He picks all the right letters and is learning the sounds each one makes. He even uses the little mouse that it comes with. Soon I'll let him play on Dylan's real computer. Some of the games we have will be good for his age.
I'll have to start writing down some of the funny things the boys say.
We have finally found a tv show that Chan and I like that the boys will 'let' us watch. Normally they never let us watch a show without constant interruption. TV is usually something we get to enjoy after the boys are in bed. Sunday nights are fun because the boys LOVE America's Funniest Home Videos - and so do we. It's nice to actually sit down together and watch a show that we all enjoy. The boys laugh like crazy! Even Cameron understands the humor.
