The Tooth Fairy already!?

Yep... Dylan is growing up at rapid speed now. First Kindergarten and then his first loose tooth. The problem is that he's devastated!

For the last few days he wouldn't let us help him brush his teeth. He'd say "I can do it really good now, I don't need any help." As I was watching him brush tonight I noticed that he kept avoiding the front. When I told him to do the front he was super gentle. That's when I noticed that it was loose. I was excited and said "You have a loose tooth!"......... that's when he burst into tears and yelled "NO I DON'T!" He was so upset. I think it was because he doesn't know anything about losing teeth or the tooth fairy. I think he may have thought that he hasn't been brushing good enough or that he did something wrong. As if starting school isn't already a huge step for him, but to lose a tooth too -- I worry that he's going to start avoiding smiling and stuff. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
