The big catch!

Grandpa Phillips took Dylan fishing today and Dylan caught his very first fish ever...and then his second! They called me on the cell phone to tell me. I asked Dylan how big they were and he said "About as long as a straw. Well, about as long as a straw if you cut it off at the bendy part and keep the long part on the bottom. About that big."

They look bigger than a straw to me!

Grandpa was worried because they had a boat and he didn't have life jackets and since the water was muddy he didn't know how deep it was... so he put the boat in the water and tied it to something on land. They floated in the docked boat as they fished. Just as good as actually boating when you're 6! :)

Grandpa took Cam the next day for his special day of fishing, but sadly they didn't catch anything.... BUT Cam got ice cream afterward, which is just as good as catching a fish when you're 3! :)
