So much for staying dry

We took the boys to Pinchot yesterday to have a picnic and to swim in the nasty lake. It wasn't until we got there that I realized that since I was so busy gathering up everything to take with us, I forgot my bathing suit. I wanted to get in the water with the boys, but didn't want to get my clothes wet. I waded up to my knees, trying to avoid the splashed of the other kids. I realized that I'd better put sunblock on, so I was making my way out of the water when - SPLASH! I fell down the whole way into the water!! Dylan had apparently dug a big hole in the sand under the murky yellow/brown water and I had stepped in it and fell backwards - right on top of Dylan. I was soaked! Of course the boys (and Chan...and myself) thought it was hilarious! Thankfully my camera was ok (it was in my pocket). Wet sand in your shorts is not something that I'd recommend. Yuck! Anyway, at least we all got a good laugh out of it. I just wish we had the camcorder running so that we could send it to "Funny Movies" (aka: America's Funniest Home Videos).
