The other day I took Dylan and Cam to the Martin's Potato Chip Factory. It was really cool. They got to see the whole process up close (from potato to chip to bagging to shipping) and even got to eat some hot, fresh chips right off the line!
I hear that at most of the factories they make you watch from behind glass.
A few days later I took all 3 boys to Hershey Garden's and to the Butterfly house inside the Children's Garden. It's one of my favorite places to take them. We had a great time!
Then another day we had the Bryson Family Reunion. The boys had a fun time fishing, running around, getting in the river, blowing bubbles and doing crafts.
For my birthday the boys insisted on getting me a fishing pole. Not sure why, but they had their hearts set on it. So Chan took them to Bass Pro Shop and got me a pole. They were so excited. It actually came in very handy at the reunion. To my surprise, I actually really like fishing!
For Chan's bday we were planning on showing up at his work to surprise him and take him to lunch, but he was really busy that day. So instead we took him to Olive Garden after work and surprised him by having the waiters & waitresses come out with a cake and sing to him. Actually it was Chan's idea to go there and have them sing so that the boys could get all excited and think they were "surprising" daddy. They got a kick out of it.
