Hot Wheels

Remember how obsessed Dylan used to be with coins? Well, now he's just as obsessed with Hot Wheels cars. No, not Matchbox cars, Hot Wheels brand cars. It has to be 'Hot Wheels'. He obsessively talks about them almost every waking minute. He knows the names of them, the years they were made, what kind of tires they have, what style car they are, where he got them, how much he paid for them, what they're worth.............. He plays with them and organizes them and carries around a huge bin full of them. He organizes them on the shelf in his bedroom and then takes them back down again. He buys them new at the store and he hunts through boxes at yard sales and flea markets... and has me checking ebay.


Speaking of Dylan, we've decided to move Gabriel into the the bunk bed room with Cam and let Dylan have his own room since Gabriel was starting to get scared sleeping alone (after all, he always saw Cam and Dylan in the same room and me and Chan in the same room and he was scared that he had to sleep all alone). Dylan loved the idea of having his own room...except of course he is now being very territorial... "Stay out of MY room". Anyway, he is now dreaming up ideas for how he's going to decorate his Monster Jam/Monster Truck/Hot Wheels bedroom.
